Sports Therapy
is not unlike the other therapies available within the Client Record Master
Application
having been carefully designed to facilitate the detailed capture of information
required when treating a client or patient with the various
treatment or techniques associated with Sports Therapy, by presenting the
sports therapist with a flexible, but ordered selection of prompts to a range of subject
areas relating to Sports Therapy.
This is achieved via
two levels of information capture as demonstrated to the right with a
selection of screens. The Treatment Notes being the first level which
relating to areas associated with holistic treatment in general.
Treatment Notes:

textual description of the client/patient details.

Treatment notes displaying
the details associated with the Sports Therapy treatment.

Client/patient complaint or reason for treatment.

General symptoms being
experienced.

Client/patient stress and
energy levels.

Documentation of any changes

information is made available in hardcopy format at the
simple click of a button.
The second level being more specific
related to Sports Therapy having been designed to record the Observations
made during the actual treatment.
The first selection available when
entering the Sports Therapy Treatment Observations section, as the name
implies, relates to the collection of information specific to the Sports
Treatment itself, whether the client or patient are undergoing
treatment for Pre or Post Events or are being treated for a particular
reason or injury.
Treatment Observations:

Evaluation of key muscles and
their condition.

Review of overall posture.

Identification of areas of
heat sensitivity.

In addition to the Sports Treatment mentioned above,
there are several associated therapy/treatment areas, provide for the
capture of both textual and graphic information relating to these
specialities, which may be relevant to the client or patient treatment during an
individual treatment session.

Acupressure Treatment with detailed graphic and
textual information covering the fourteen main meridians along with
the location of the individual acupressure points.

Specific Muscle Treatment with graphic location and
identification plus information on muscle Origin, Insertion, action
and Nerve association.

Detailed notes on Palpation.

Range of Motion Testing.
-
Stretching with information relating to over one hundred
different stretches.

Trigger Point Treatment, with a detailed point
location system which identifies the most likely trigger point
requiring attention by displaying the individual muscles requiring
treatment in order of priority based on the location of the pain
being experienced by the client.
